COURSE OVERVIEW
Two-day pistol and rifle course focused on practical performance.
This class emphasizes efficient weapon handling, movement, target transitions, and maintaining accuracy under increased speed and workload. Training is structured to build fundamentals and then apply them in progressively more demanding drills.
Students should expect a high round count, consistent movement, and a performance-driven environment.
TRAINING OBJECTIVES
Improve pistol and rifle fundamentals under speed
Develop efficient recoil management and shot cadence
Build consistency in target transitions and multiple target engagement
Introduce movement while maintaining accuracy
Reinforce weapon manipulation (reloads, malfunctions)
Develop rifle-to-pistol transition efficiency
Increase overall shooting confidence and control under pressure
DAY 1 – PISTOL
Focus on building and applying solid pistol fundamentals.
Grip, Vision, and trigger control refinement
Draw stroke and presentation
Recoil impulse and shot timing
Multiple target engagement
Shooting on the move
Accountability at speed
DAY 2 – RIFLE & PISTOL INTEGRATION
Integration of rifle and pistol in a dynamic shooting environment.
Rifle fundamentals and sling use
Reloads and malfunction clearing
Shooting from kneeling, supported, and cover positions
Rifle-to-pistol transitions
Movement with both platforms
Multi-target engagement under movementRound Count:
750 minimum rounds pistol
750 rounds rifle minimum
Required Gear:
Pistol, rifle, appropriate holster (OWB recommended for Day 2), sling, mag carriers, eye/ear protection, and ammo.

500 Minimum -750 rounds for pistol
750 minimum to 1000 rounds for rifle
Additional Items:
Comfortable clothing and sturdy footwear for movement
Hydration and snacks for breaks

CONROE TEXAS: 16 HOUR COURSE STARTS AT 8:00 AM AND ENDS 4:30PM
